Your SATN profile stores the personal and professional information tied to your account. Keeping it up to date ensures that your identity is correctly reflected across the platform, and that any documents you export carry the right credentials. The most important element you can manage here is your digital signature — an image that SATN embeds directly into every Word report you generate, giving your nutritional tables a professional, verified appearance for clients and regulatory submissions.

What you can update

From your profile settings you can update the personal information associated with your account, including the details used to identify you within the platform. Your login credentials use your document number, so make sure any changes you make remain consistent with how you registered.

Upload your digital signature

Your digital signature is an image of your handwritten signature (or a professional stamp) that SATN places at the bottom of exported Word reports. This is particularly important when delivering nutritional tables to food manufacturers or submitting documents to regulatory bodies, where a professional signature adds credibility and accountability.
1

Open your profile

Click your name or account icon in the top navigation bar, then select Profile from the dropdown menu.
2

Locate the digital signature section

Scroll down to the Digital Signature section on the profile page.
3

Upload your signature image

Click Choose file and select an image of your signature from your device. PNG files with a transparent background work best for a clean appearance in exported documents.
4

Save your changes

Click Save to apply your updates. Your new signature will be used on all Word reports exported from that point forward.
Use a high-resolution image with a transparent or white background so your signature appears clearly on the white background of exported Word reports.
Your digital signature only appears in exported Word (.docx) reports. It does not appear within the SATN web interface itself.

Why the digital signature matters

In Colombia, nutritional labeling documentation often needs to be signed by a qualified professional — a food technologist or nutritionist — before it can be submitted or shared with a food manufacturer. Uploading your signature once to SATN means every report you export is ready to share without extra steps.
